Furman Dance Company

The Furman Dance Company is an organization that exists to foster and improve the creative art of dance in a team-building environment through regular training, rehearsals and performances.  During the football season, the Furman Dance Company is an auxiliary unit of the Furman Marching Band.  During the basketball season and throughout the year, the dance team performs as a solo ensemble.   

The Furman Dance Company also performs at several functions throughout the course of the year, including Dance Spectacular.  Dance Spectacular generally occurs in the spring and features the Furman Dance Company in both self and faculty choreographed pieces in all genres, along with performance from local talent in the Greenville area.  Past contributors have included the International Ballet Academy, Studio A Performing Company, Upstate Carolina Dance Center, and Dianne's School of Dance.
